Short film research: 3D Animated Sci-Fi Short Film | AUTONOMOUS

 This blog is going to cover the sci-fi short titled autonomous. The title said it was a sci-fi but personally I think you could narrow it down even more to sci-fi action. I say this because the film pandered a lot more to the action genre then to any other genre. It also seemed to go along well with the themes and conventions of an action film. which that being said lets delve into conventions starting with sound. With this film just like any other action film contain 3 main sound types diegetic, non-diegetic, and dialogue. Next on the list is common mis en scene. Ill start of with costumes which tend to very but in this film case they were in biker outfits and skin tight uniforms. Now when discussing lighting actions tend to have a mixture of high key and lowkey lighting. Now Onto acting where one can see that acting in an action film requires you to have much more grit aggressiveness and urgency in your character as one could see from any action film including this one. Now make up for action films doesn't really  have much substance since it can be very diverse. If I had to give my best position/view though, I would say that it is suppose to give a more natural and minimalistic look to the actors making everything look genuine and real. But I Guess this portion wouldn't matter since we never seen any of the characters faces. Now props in this film included the fast vehicles weaponry of sorts, Not to mention objects(could also be a vehicle)that can explode. Now as for the settings of the action genre it can be pretty diverse. In this case it seemed to be a timeline far forward in the future. Now when discussing editing techniques in such 2 main techniques  are mainly used in action. They include regular standard cutting and jump cutting(which are both used in this film). Examples of other films in this genre include  Spider-Man 1, 2 as well as 3, big hero 6, and batman vs superman. Elements I
like pertaining to the film and said genre is its fast pace and high action, Gets me as a person in the audience "pumped up". The down side of the film and it said genre personally is that their is 0 to no plot and where left with a cool fight some slight slight inferences about the plot and a plethora of questions.  I've watched the "how to make a short film" YouTube video and  I gathered a good amount of useful points tips and ideas. Time to delve into what I've gained. Ill start with the fact that when designing or writing you short film one should only do enough that fit their resources. A good example of such is if I have 20,000 I cant be writing or designing for a 100,000 dollar short film. Another example of such is if I only have a water gun I cannot be looking to make a wwii bunker battle since I don't have the resources for such action. When making a short film one should also think of set ups and payoffs. Their are also multiple types of set ups and pay offs including emotional and story as decreed by the video. another skill that their video speaks of is to do or act in opposite of what the audience is expecting. An example of this could be that an audience is expecting a scene  where a mysteries character is the protagonist father but then you can flip the script

 Good afternoon my Government name is Djonucci Stjuste But I like to go by DJ.My current age as of august 22 is 15 and i'm not going to lie i still feels the same as when i was 14. I mean on the Bright side I grew an inch.My player build(my way of saying height and weight) is 5'10 210 pounds. Yeah at first look it may seem i'm overweight but i'm actually relatively fit(my build is quite stocky tho). my passions are music and sports(namely Rap and football). I would say mentally i'm just like any other kid But physically...yeah i think not. as i said before i am relatively fit but heavyset but that is not even the most perculier thing about me. the most peculiar thing about me i would say is that i had a beard eversinse i was 12 years old! yeah i know shocking right, kids are being built different these days. blue print for next part p2

Ok, so previously i explained my game plan for doing the video project. this is a continuation of that blog. in this blog I will be going into greater detail about the second part of my plan to finish the project. First it will start with me going up to the front gate of the complex area. From there i would basically take car of all parts pertaining to the killer. I would start with the opening shot of the killer. then i would move on and take all scenes in which pertain to killer. while I'm doing that I would simultaneously improvise each scene. I would add extra movements and even add different camera angles if necessary. from then on I would go back to basketball court. Once there I would take all shots of my victim. just like the killers scenes i would try to improvise the victims scenes with movements and camera angles. After that i would start taking the scenes of the killer and victim in the same frame. I would retake some scenes just incase they were not up to par. note tha
